Why Hire Offshore Virtual Assistants?

[last_modified_date]

There are many decisions to consider as you grow your business. The more you scale, the more time and resources are devoted to areas that are not part of your core business functions. Maintaining a balance between your expansion and your company’s central goals can be challenging.

It may already be clear that you need additional bandwidth to support your team. Whether this is due to an already overloaded staff or projected workload increases, offshore virtual assistants can help lighten the load.

What Is a Virtual Assistant?

A virtual assistant is a person who adds capacity to an existing business by performing administrative services from a remote location. With this type of arrangement, you can benefit from using virtual assistant services on demand when you need them. This means that you can avoid the risk of hiring an assistant full-time.

What Functions Do Offshore Virtual Assistants Perform?

When a virtual assistant is offshore, they are physically in a non-U.S. location. Offshore virtual assistants can perform many functions your business may struggle to keep up with as you grow. These include:

By hiring offshore virtual assistants to take over these administrative services, you and your team can focus your efforts on your goals and objectives.

Cost Savings

The cost associated with hiring additional full-time team members can be prohibitive. You might be unsure how long you will need them on your team. It could also be that you know at the onset that you only need their services for a short duration, such as weeks or months.

When you hire offshore virtual assistants through Peak Outsourcing, you can quickly add the working power of between three and 100 additional people to your team. You can avoid many costs in doing so, such as those associated with interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.

Continual Assistance 24 Hours a Day

By hiring offshore virtual assistants, your business can benefit from the difference in time zones between your location and theirs. This is true whether you need assistance for your in-house team, client service, or both.

Around-the-clock support can be particularly effective when you have deadlines to meet. Offshore virtual assistants can be available at all hours of the day and night. This means you are not limited by the working hours of your core stateside team. When your team clocks out at the end of the day, offshore virtual assistants can jump in where they left off for seamless continuity.

Flexibility to Add Capacity as Needed

You may not be able to accurately plan your near-term staffing needs as your business scales because of factors such as sudden unforeseen growth. When this happens, offshore personal assistants can respond to the need quickly.

You can add capacity to your team whenever you need it. This allows you to adapt swiftly to nonlinear growth. Instead of worrying about how your future business staffing needs will be satisfied, you can feel confident that your offshore virtual assistants will be there to meet them.

Unlimited Sourcing Regardless of Location

When you hire offshore virtual assistants, you are not limited by the available talent in your specific geographic location. This means that you do not have to be concerned about the level of local competition for qualified staff. You will still be able to get the professional assistance you need because you can draw on a much larger resource pool.

Allowing You to Focus on Your Core Business Functions

There are some functions that you simply cannot outsource. These include executive leadership, your vision and mission, building and maintaining business relationships, and your unique business strategy. It’s critical that you maintain your focus on these areas.

It’s one thing to intend to keep your focus on these functions. However, it’s quite another matter to execute on this intention when your business grows quickly. Your core business functions may suffer when you and your team become stretched thin. Offshore virtual assistants can take over delegable tasks for you. This can effectively give you back precious hours you need to maintain focus.

Pat has built a long and varied career across multiple areas. He graduated with a BS in Finance from Arizona State University and got his start in the business world as a healthcare consultant for some of the largest hospitals in the world, including St. Luke’s Episcopal in Houston, TX and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.

Pat then ventured into the banking industry, gaining vast knowledge of all facets of commercial and retail lending. Following this, Pat built on his depth of sales skills and worked as an enterprise representative, selling Oracle applications and software implementations to Fortune 500 companies, as well as he had the opportunity to represent an accounting firm focused on the implementation of Sarbanes Oxley regulations.

In 2004, Pat started his own real estate development and management company. Over the years he developed and managed multiple commercial properties throughout Arizona and Texas. It was then that Pat sought out the resources of third party outsourcers for many support functions of his business and grew to understand how important these operations were to the success of his own company.

Pat believes the key to his success has been choosing to build his businesses with strong partners. “The one thing I am certain of is that businesses are only as solid as the teams that build them. You have to trust and genuinely believe in the people you put in front of your customers. It’s my commitment that Peak’s partnership with your business will be one you can depend on”.
